Mourning Doves check out Bird Bath. Just been installed for a few days these are the first birds I seen checking it out for a drink. No bath as of yet, maybe once the water warms up. The bird bath is on the Koi cam running live 7×24. Stop by and check out the fish and the birds when you have time.
Birds looking for food on a winter day. Both our ground feeders and bird feeders was super busy even before sunrise due to about 4 inches of snow over night. There were mourning doves, junco, cardinals on the ground feeder before I hit the record button. These birds need to find food sources in the winter time especially with everything covered in snow.
Fill your feeders with the best bird foods that provide energy. Birds will eat to keep warm during these cold days. Winter can be hard season for many of these birds so keep you feeders refilled with seed. Your bird feeders can attract plenty of birds to your backyard or garden and will help them survive on a winter day.
American Gold Finch, Mourning Doves and House Finches
American Gold Finch, Mourning Doves and House Finches was hanging around our bird feeders today. I wasn’t home today but took some time to review this on video today and it is my first time I have seen a pair of American Gold Finches. In past I would only see one at a time. We are sure will see more as we get closer to spring time. Had plenty of mourning doves and house finches at the feeders today as well.
Bird Video for Cats to Watch the Dove Party, they were partying on the ground as well as in the platform. Long video is great for your cats who like to watch the birds. These were Morning Doves that did invite the Finches to party with them.
Just a raining day here in Ohio and it had the birds looking for food.
